PRIVACY POLICY

LectureSync is published by XG Interactive, operated by Zafar, a sole proprietor based in India. You can reach us at xginteractive@gmail.com.

LectureSync collects the timetable and attendance data you enter, but stores all of it locally on your device. None of it is uploaded to our servers or shared with anyone, and we have no access to it. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app's data. The one exception is Google AdMob, which serves the ads in the app — see Section 4.

The app collects and stores the following on your device. None of it is transmitted to us:

• Your timetable and subject list
• Your daily attendance records, including extra and cancelled classes
• Your attendance threshold and any planned absences
• Your notification time preference

We have no access to any of it, and it is never sent off your device. Clearing the app's data from your device settings, or uninstalling the app, permanently deletes all of it.

The app displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve them, Google collects certain information directly from your device — typically your Android advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. This is collected by Google, not by us, and we never receive it.

How Google uses this data is governed by Google's privacy policy for partner sites and apps.

• Limit ad personalisation. This is controlled by Android and Google, not by us. In your device Settings, search for "Ads" to reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalised ads — the exact location varies by Android version.
• Erase everything. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes all your attendance data from your device.

LectureSync is built for college and university students and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly receive personal information about children — and as described above, the data the app stores never leaves the device it was entered on.

Data protection laws such as the GDPR, the CCPA, and India's DPDPA give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. We hold none of your data on any server, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete on your behalf — it is on your device and under your direct control, and you can view, edit, or erase it yourself at any time. We may update this policy if the app changes. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do.
